Kirsten Doherty, Program Manager, YAR Program

Kirsten began her tenure in July 2006. She has spent more than 15 years in healthcare fundraising, most recently as a consultant with her own company. Her background in fundraising, consulting, and volunteer management will provide added strength to YAR’s growth and sustainability.

 

Penelope Bruce, YAR Intern at NCHC, UMASS Lowell

Penelope, a student at UMASS Lowell, is doing her senior practicum at the Northeast Center for Healthy Communities (NCHC). She will be receiving her bachelors degree in Community Health and Sustainability this spring. Penelope has been an intern for the YAR Program since summer 2007, she has support a variety of projects/programs; The YAR Resource Pocket Guide, YAR 2008 Conference and the Northeast Youth Leadership Institute. Penelope will be continuing her education in the Community Social Psychology masters program at UMASS Lowell in the fall.

 
Youth at Risk Board*

The program is guided by the Youth at Risk Board composed of youth providers, consultants, and advocates, agency leaders, private sector representatives all dedicated to serving youth at risk.
