Mission

Youth at Risk’s (YAR) mission is to improve the lives of young people in Essex County by partnering with and increasing the capacity of the people and organizations that serve and care for them.

Vision

The young people of Essex County will possess the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual capacity to meaningfully participate in and contribute to society empowered by the dedication, cooperation, relationships with, and collective consciousness of those who serve and care for them.
